My best Pokémon ever was Registeele. Hyper beam, toxic, and the two sharp defense moves. Max my defenses, toxic, and then wait. Hyper beam if I got bored and wanted to move things along.

I'm heavily into the shroomish camp. Shroomish, paras and bidoof are my 3 favorite Pokemon. Period. They do stuff. You have to keep shroomish from evolving until 54 to get spore 😢 but brick break is a great tm to tack on to that breloom once it's evolved. Along with false swipe. And just hang on to gigadrain for stab. Love this little shroom!

Appreciate the lack of Count impressions. It was cool the first, second time maybe? But got old. Fast. Also, I think holding onto a Physical move (maybe even Body Slam/Bite) and/or not relying/using Hydro Pump so much would have had a positive impact, but, lovely run to watch none the less. Wonder what Emulator/Rom he's using to give the attack sprites color (such as Flamethrower/Hydro Pump) *Edit* Afterthought: Mimic Gyarados?

11:40 ah yes, the ditto move swap glitch. you got the fun option (cooltrainer) which fun fact: cooltrainer is also related to the game melting super glitch (i.e tm55 move etc), it’s quite fun to mess around with.

One of my best/favorite members of my team in Diamond was a fast / spec.attack Persian I gave Hypnotize, Substitute, Dream Eater, Assist, and Leftovers. They nerfed sleep later on (1-2 rounds), but it was 3-5 rounds of downtime for the enemy in Diamond. Sleep them before they can move, make your shield, leftovers and dream eater to get to full health again. They wake up and punch the substitute? Hypnotize again. Having trouble with sleeping or dream eater working? Assist and throw a hydro pump or fire fang whatever. He was basically useless in ORAS when I transferred him 10 years later, so I had to make him a talent contest guy instead, but it was nice to pet him and feed him in 3d.

Shuckle is actually a decent tank in gen 2

Speed's great but you don't need it when you have bulk and some good attacking moves to back it up.

Alas, BubbleBeam is useless on Articuno except for the PP. There's no case where Articuno does more damage with BubbleBeam than he does with Ice Beam.

Good thing OHKO moves work on higher level Pokemon if you outspeed them in gen1.......

Why does _EVERYONE_ seem to mispronounce rattata? It’s pronounced: Ratt-uh-tah NOT ra-tatta. Go watch the first episode of the anime, the Pokédex clearly pronounces it. Episode 8 also features a pronunciation.

Remember doing these challenges when I was a kid on gameboy color waaaaay back in the day 😂😂😂 my child mindset didn’t have the patience to finish them 😂

Flareon ain't exactly the greatest of the eveelutions but it's not too bad nonetheless and it's nice seeing FLAMETHROWER and FIRE BLAST used this much.
